Two ways to buy
Choose the route that fits your setup
All containers load in Algeria. What changes is how much of the journey we handle for you.
You import into your country
You hold the import licence and clear customs at destination. We produce, pack, prepare the full export document set and load the container.
- You handle: freight booking or nomination, destination clearance, duties
- We handle: production, packing, export formalities, loading, documents
- Best for: established importers and distributors
We import for you
In Turkey, France, Senegal and Mauritania we can act as the importer, clear the goods and hand them to you locally. No import licence needed on your side.
- You handle: placing the order and taking local delivery
- We handle: export, freight, import clearance, local handover
- Best for: first-time buyers, retailers and HORECA without an import licence
Buying in another country and you do not hold an import licence? Tell us in the form — we will look at whether we can arrange a route for your market.

Quality
Why buyers stay after the first container
Single origin, single facility
Every reference comes from our own growing and packing operation in Algeria. One origin, one process, no blending across suppliers — so the second container matches the first.
Laboratory verified
Our dates go through accredited laboratory analysis. Certificates of analysis are supplied with shipments and with sample lots on request.
Grading you can specify
Grades are defined by caliber, moisture and defect tolerance, not by adjectives. Tell us your price point and shelf position and we quote the grade that fits it.
24-month shelf life
At 0 °C the product holds a full 24 months, which gives distributors real room on stock turn instead of a race against expiry.
Samples before commitment
We send sample lots before any container is confirmed. Assess the product in your own market, against your own competitors, before you place an order.
You are quoting the producer
Not a broker layered on top of one. That shows up in the price, in how flexible we can be on packing, and in how fast a problem actually gets fixed.
Private label & OEM
Ship it under your own brand
Many distributors sell under their own label. Our facility runs custom packing, so the product arrives ready for your shelf, not ready for ours.
What we can customise
- Your brand artwork on cartons, trays, boxes and sleeves
- Your own EAN barcodes and retail labelling
- Destination-specific label compliance and language
- Non-standard net weights and pack formats
- Retail-ready display and shelf-ready cases
What we need from you
- Print-ready artwork, or a brief for us to work from
- Target market, so we can check labelling requirements
- Format and net weight you want to run
- Indicative annual volume, so we can set the run size
Private label minimum quantities and artwork lead times are confirmed at quotation.
Commercial terms
Terms, documents and logistics
Trade & logistics
- Minimum order: one 20ft container — 9 pallets, references may be mixed
- Loading: all containers load in Algeria
- Container plan: 9 pallets per 20', 20 pallets per 40'
- Incoterms: quoted per destination — EXW, FOB, CIF and delivered terms considered
- Mixed loads: all five references can be combined in one container
- Lead time: confirmed at order, based on format and whether packaging is private label
Export documentation
Document sets are assembled per destination. Depending on your market this typically includes:
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Bill of lading
- Certificate of origin
- Phytosanitary certificate
- Health / sanitary certificate
- Certificate of analysis
- Additional certificates and preferential-origin documents where your market requires them
Tell us the destination country in the form and we confirm the exact document set that applies to it.
Payment
We work with bank transfer and letter of credit. Terms depend on order size, destination and whether it is a first or repeat order, and are set out in writing on the quotation before anything is produced.
Direct from the producer
Miraç Palm grows, packs and exports its own dates from Algeria. You deal with the producer at every stage — quotation, production, loading and documentation — with no trading layer in between and no margin stacked on top of one.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask us first
What is your minimum order quantity?
One 20ft container, which is 9 pallets. You do not have to fill it with a single reference — all five can be mixed inside one container, so a first order can test several formats in your market on one set of freight costs.
Need a smaller trial quantity? Say so in the form and we will look at what is workable for your destination.
Can I mix different products in one container?
Yes. Strand, retail carton, loose and rehydrated can all be combined inside a single 20ft or 40ft load. Tell us the split you want in the form and we return the exact loaded weight and the price for that combination.
How much product fits in a container?
It depends on the reference. A 40ft holds 20 pallets, which ranges from 15,600 kg for the 500 g retail trays up to 20,000 kg for the 5 kg carton formats. A 20ft holds 9 pallets. The full table is in the specifications section above.
At these weights the container fills on floor space before it reaches its payload limit, so there is headroom if you need a denser configuration.
Where do containers ship from?
All of our containers load in Algeria, from our own facility. The specific port is confirmed on the quotation based on your destination and the routing.
I do not have an import licence. Can you still supply me?
In Turkey, France, Senegal and Mauritania, yes — we can act as the importer, clear the goods and hand them to you locally. For other markets, tell us where you are and we will look at whether a route is workable.
Which Incoterms do you quote?
EXW, FOB, CIF and delivered terms are all considered, quoted per destination. If you already work to a specific Incoterm, state it in the form and we will quote on that basis so you can compare us directly against your current supplier.
What are your payment terms?
Bank transfer and letter of credit. The split between advance and balance depends on order size, destination and whether it is a first or repeat order. Terms are fixed in writing on the quotation.
What is the lead time from order to loading?
It depends on the format and whether the packaging is standard or private label — printed artwork adds time. We give you a firm date on the quotation rather than an estimate you cannot plan around.
Can you pack under our own brand?
Yes. Private label is a significant part of what we do: your artwork, your barcodes, your net weights, and labelling compliant with your destination market. See the private label section above for what we need from you to start.
Do you send samples, and what do they cost?
Yes, we send samples before any order is confirmed. Tick the samples box in the form, tell us which references you want to evaluate, and we come back with what we can send and how it ships to your country.
What certifications do you hold?
Our product goes through accredited laboratory testing, and certificates of analysis accompany shipments. Certification requirements vary considerably by market, so tell us your destination and intended channel — retail, food service or industrial — and we will confirm exactly which certificates we can supply for it.
What is the harvest season, and is the product available year round?
Deglet Noor is harvested annually, and the 24-month shelf life under cold storage means we supply through the year rather than only in season. Availability by reference is confirmed at quotation.
What are the storage requirements once it arrives?
0 °C holds the full 24-month shelf life. Up to 4 °C is acceptable for a maximum of 2 months. Factor cold storage into your landed cost if you plan to hold stock long term.
What is the difference between your grades?
Grades are separated by caliber — pieces per kilo — moisture content and defect tolerance, not by marketing language. Larger, more uniform, lower-defect fruit costs more. We send the full grade specification with the quotation so you can see precisely what you are paying for.
Do you supply the Turkish and French domestic markets?
Yes. In Turkey and France we can import the goods ourselves and supply you locally, which means you buy without holding an import licence or handling clearance. Select the matching route in the form.
What is your price?
We quote per enquiry rather than publishing a price list, because the number changes with the reference, the grade, the packaging, the volume, the Incoterm and the destination — a published figure would be wrong for almost everyone who read it.
Give us the references, the destination and an approximate volume and you get a real, usable price instead of a range.
