Our Dates
What are Deglet Nour dates?
Deglet Nour is a prized date variety grown in the Algerian Sahara, known for its golden, semi-translucent flesh and a naturally sweet, honey-like taste. It is often called the "queen of dates".
Where do your dates come from?
Our dates are grown in the date-palm oases of southern Algeria, harvested at peak ripeness and packed with care to preserve their freshness on the way to your table.
What is the difference between whole and pitted dates?
Whole dates still contain the pit and keep their natural shape and texture. Pitted dates have the pit removed for convenience — perfect for snacking, baking and smoothies. The fruit itself is the same Deglet Nour quality.
Do your dates contain added sugar or preservatives?
No. Our dates are a whole fruit with nothing added — no added sugar, no syrups, no preservatives. Just dates.
How do bundle savings work?
The more boxes you order, the less you pay per kilogram. Pick a bundle size on the product page — the saving is already built into the price, no discount code needed.
Storage & Freshness
How should I store my dates?
Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in an airtight container. For longer freshness, store them in the fridge.
How long do dates stay fresh?
Stored properly, Deglet Nour dates keep their taste and texture for up to 12 months. Each box carries a best-before date on the label.
Why do some dates have a white coating?
A light white film on dates is naturally crystallised fruit sugar, not mould. It is completely harmless and disappears if you warm the dates slightly.
